We are proud to welcome rowers of all abilities and offer a wide range of sessions ranging from social rowing to competitive racing.

Being a member of FMPGC provides a number of benefits:

• Numerous open gig rowing sessions (as per your availability and the sessions available) can be booked using our EasyTeam Online booking system

  • Social/recreational sessions

• The usage of 2 Concept2 RowErg machines at the Gig Shed (subject to booking and availability)

• The opportunity to compete and represent FMPGC at the World Pilot Gig Championships (WPGC) situated on the Isles of Scilly (subject to selection process) and other nationwide regattas/race events

Unfortunately, the Learn2Row course is temporarily on hold due to the unavailability of qualified coaches to deliver the course syllabus. We hope to reinstate this course in the very near future when possible.

Meanwhile, we are still trying to offer taster sessions for interested parties. All newcomers are offered two free taster sessions on the water before making the decision to join the club. These sessions will be offered on an individual basis and may depend on your level of experience in and around rowing boats. If you get in touch we can provide further information and hopefully accommodate your requirements.
